Bernhardt Tiede II, otherwise known to everyone as Bernie, was born on August 2, 1958 in Texas. His father was a Russian immigrant who had moved to the United States when he was just a teenager. He eventually met Bernie’s mom, Lela Mae Jester, and married her in 1957. Bernie was born just one year after, but sadly lost his mother in a car accident where his dad was driving but had survived while Bernie’s mom did not. And at the unbelievable young age of two, Bernie would lose his mom.
