40. Tragedy
Harambe, a 17-year-old Gorilla was shot after a five-year-old boy was knocked unconscious after falling into the animal enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. Authorities reported the boy crawled through the railing and fell about 10ft. Witnesses heard the boy saying he wanted to get into the water, but his mother, who was taking care of several other children, said ‘no’. People blamed the boy’s parents for not looking after their son and called the tragedy ‘murder’.
