Kinsey French, a special education teacher from Kentucky, didn’t have to think long before she decided to invite her entire class – all who have down syndrome – to be part of her wedding. After all, they’re like one big family, she says.
On June 3rd, the day of the wedding, the entire class showed up to support their teacher as flower girls and ring bearers. French told WLKY:
“They were like family to me. They were my first class and they’ve been my only class and so I knew I couldn’t have a special day without them.”
The students later relayed that their favorite parts of the wedding were the food and the dancing. And truly, more fun couldn’t have been had. After the photos (captured by Lang Thomas Photography) were posted online, the internet couldn’t help but rejoice. Look below and you’ll see why!
