It Didn’t End There

In 2002, when James Kelly was the Assistant U.S. Secretary of State, he visited Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital. He shared that the officials supposedly admitted to having a covert ‘nuclear weapons program,’ which caused a blowup on the nuclear issues all over again. And despite North Korea attending talks on disarmament and the like, it still wouldn’t stop them from launching a number of missiles after that. Especially once the latest dictator, Kim Jong-un, took his place in power.

People Were Right To Be Afraid

Under the latest regime of Kim Jong-un, North Korea continued, and continues, to test a various range of missiles. Not only had they finally been successful in launching a satellite into orbit, slowly, it would become clear that their power was growing stronger and stronger by the minute. And because they are considered such a rogue nation, this has caused tension to become even more heightened all around the world.
