Praying For Answers
Craig County Sheriff Winfrey had just taken office in January 2017 when he had found the notes stuffed in a box in the closet. He explains, “It was just sitting on a shelf. We weren’t digging for it – we just found it.” He continues, “You don’t think finding something like that in a crate would push the case forward this much. You just don’t think in a million years it would turn out leads like it did.” But thankfully for both families, it seems that this is exactly what has happened here. And for the Bible and Freeman family members that have been left behind, knowing that they may finally find out the truth, then all those years waiting will be completely worth it. And they can finally lay their cherished loved ones to rest.
