Brand Booed At Anonymous Rally

Thousands of Anonymous supporters rallied in cities all over the world on November 5th to protest government oppression and corporate power (more here). Here are some highlights of the London protests, where Russell Brand joined the so-called Million Mask March.

“For what it´s worth, in my personal view, we should have a loving, peaceful protest,” the author of Revolution shouted to the crowd. This didn´t go down well with Anonymous protesters, who booed Brand loudly and attacked him on Twitter.

What do you think? Is Russell Brand naïve to ask for a peaceful revolution? Does his presence help or hinder the goals of Anonymous? Did you take part in any of the  rallies around the world? Let us know in the comments.
