Some Wild Turkey Facts
Turkeys are huge animals and can have wingspans of up to 6 feet. They are also known to be the ‘largest bird in their natural habitat of the open forest by far.’ Aside from that, they also have unbelievably strong legs and can even reach speeds of 25 miles per hour. For those domesticated turkeys, they don’t fly and are used mostly for their meat. The couple knew they needed to be vigilant watching the bird’s actions.
