Bye-bye thief
Camera thieves often do use the equipment they’ve stolen. Some of these simple-minded criminals then upload pictures either on a random website or even on their personal social media accounts. This then helps the software gather clues as to where the stolen camera currently is. This has proven to be quite effective because many of these folks operate under the assumption that once the camera is stolen, the owners lose all hope of getting it back.
