The body of the Black Dahlia was found severed in half from the waist and was strewn in a vacant lot on south Norton Avenue. Her mouth was slit from its corners towards the ear. The suspect had never been identified, and the case remains cold even to this day.

Elizabeth Short was in town to visit some friends. Before she went missing, she was seen hopping from one place to another. And according to some eye-witnesses, one of the last places she’d been seen alive was at the Cecil Hotel.
