24. Zoo keeper mauled to death by tiger after leaving the enclosure’s door open
Gong, a zookeeper at a zoo in Yichun city in China, was killed after being viciously attacked by a tiger. She was cleaning the tiger’s enclosure while the animal was being fed in the feeding area. Unknown to her, the door separating the enclosure from the feeding area was left opened. It was found out that the animal was not yet domesticated.
