1. Feeling Thirsty Very Often
Excessive thirst, or polydipsia, is a non-specific sign in many medical conditions but is characteristically found in people with high blood sugar levels. Being thirsty often can be due to a change in the body’s ability to transfer needed fluids between cells and the blood, a decrease in potassium stores inside the body, a decrease in blood volume, and other conditions that create a lack of water inside tissues and cells.
