What They Told Police
Thomas told police about the events from his point of view. He begins, “I heard thumping like loud footfalls. I heard a scream and loud voices.” Then he said he brought a baseball bat with him upstairs to see what was going on. He continues, “In front of me, I would say seven to eight feet from me, Jason had his hands around Molly’s neck. They were facing each other.” This is when he said that Jason claimed he was going to kill Molly. Thomas said, “I was concerned he would get to the bathroom and close the door and that would be the end of that. I would not be able to save her.” He goes on, “I hit him until I thought that he could not kill me. He said he was going to kill Molly. I actually felt he was going to kill me.”
