Molly, the daughter of retired FBI agent Thomas Martens, has been charged for the murder of her husband, Jack Corbett, along with her dad. Father and daughter claim that they were acting in self-defense, but prosecution believes that what happened was cold-blooded murder. What’s even more peculiar is that Molly, who says that her husband was abusive and would choke her on several occasions, also says she believes that her husband killed his first wife.

Molly Martens was a former model and swim coach who supposedly had many plans for her life while growing up. Originally wanting to go to medical school, she realized that her studies were more difficult than she first believed, and ended up deciding not to pursue that career anymore. Feeling a little out of place and lost in her young life, she eventually found a job in Ireland and decided to take it. She was to become an au pair to a widowed man who had 2 young children, and was in desperate need of someone to help him with his children.
