This young girl had been reported as a runaway from the youthful age of eighteen. In her younger years, she had tried to leave home a number of times, but the police always made sure to bring her straight back. But home was the furthest place she wanted to be as a young girl.
And the reason why goes by the name of Josef Fritzl, and he happened to be her very own father.
A Father, A Monster Or Both?
On April 9, 1935, Josef Fritzl was born in Amstetten, Austria. His hometown was considered quite small, only having around 14,000 residents. He was an only child and had been raised only by his mom, as his father had left them when he was just a wee 4-year-old child. When Josef was older, he went to school the HTL Technical College and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
