His Mom Was Sick
But sadly, in 2006, Brian’s mom was diagnosed with myelodysplasia, a painful and difficult form of cancer affecting a person’s bone marrow. And while they sought treatment for her, she would lose her life not too long after, some time in March of the same year. Although Brian didn’t show it in the conventional way, he was incredibly affected by the loss of his mom, as any child close to a parent would be. He had even written on his MySpace account, “My mom was the greatest, most wonderful person in the world.”
