Moving Them
With his mind made up, he moved the duo to a safer area, thinking that at least should they wander from their spot, they won’t accidentally walk onto the road and get accidentally run over. He was hoping that their mom would come back soon enough to take care of them. But sadly, that just wouldn’t be the case.
