His Biggest Heist
Supposedly, his biggest heist was in 1999, when he robbed a bank in Shokan. Although, this time, he didn’t follow his usual MO, changing up quite a few things from what he was known to do. The robbery took place on June 7, which was a Monday, not the usual Friday that he would strike. Plus, he did it in the middle of the day, rather than at closing time, which was his usual tactic. He took home an impressive $122,000 this time and fled into the Ashokan Reservoir, thinking he would never, ever, get caught.
