If you want Morrissey to perform, you have to give him what he wants, and what he wants is totally difficult to do. The strictly-vegan singer is said to refuse a performance until he is certain that the venue is entirely animal product free. This demand not only covers his staff and caterers, but also food concession stands that sell to the audience. He makes sure that this is strictly met and has his security detail search for any meat products that have otherwise made its way “illegally” into the venue. He is so serious about this that he has canceled appearances in places that have failed to meet his demands.
