It was after Haim’s death that Feldman felt the need to speak about the amount of abuse and molestation that occurs in Hollywood. He was interviewed on Barbara Walters, finally opening up candidly, “I’m saying…the people that did this to both me and Corey, that are still working, they’re still out there and they’re some of the richest, most powerful people in the business. And they do not want me saying what I’m saying right now.”

It was said that when Feldman confessed, Walters couldn’t believe what he was saying, asking him, “Are you saying that they’re pedophiles?” To which Feldman replied, “Yes,” further explaining to parents with kids in Hollywood to be careful. Surprisingly, her reply was completely opposite of what people expected it to be. Rather than show concern for two young boys becoming victims of dirty old men, she said, “You’re damaging an entire industry.”
