Since Kimberly didn’t request the birth certificate of Becky Sue Turner until 1988, people have been investigating and failing to come up with answers for what Kimberly did during this two year period prior to identity switch. Based on her notes, it seems that she may have been in Los Angeles and that she may have been involved in criminal activity, though this has never been proven. Her photo and fingerprints were never registered in the system.
