Using Lori’s daughter’s DNA, Fitzpatrick was able to identify distant cousins related to Lori, but knew that none would be helpful in identifying her. She did, however, identify someone who was supposed to be her first cousin: Michael Cassidy. Despite this small victory, Fitzpatrick had a long way to go.
