While people’s daily lives and routines have been forced to an abrupt stop, there hasn’t been any talk of wonderful things happening around us recently. With over a million worldwide suffering from coronavirus and 65, 605 confirmed deaths globally as of the most recent statistics, these numbers make it almost impossible to stay positive about our newfound reality. Don’t forget the coronapocalypse hoarders that exhaust even the last pack of toilet paper in groceries, which makes it feel like were a step away from complete pandemonium.
Before you admit total defeat to this globally contagious virus outbreak, we are sharing these heartwarming and tear-jerking photos of people from all over the world that will definitely restore your faith in humanity. Here is a list of ‘amidst the coronavirus’ stories that will prove to you that love and kindness are not lost on humans during these incredibly hard times.
The director of communications at the nonprofit organization of GlobalGiving, Marlena Hartz said that, people are more than happy to help others during a crisis. GlobalGiving runs a Coronavirus Relief Fund that has already raised more than $1 million.
“Our data shows that giving continues to be strong right now, and people are responding generously to help those in need.”
Hartz also warns that, although people genuinely want to help out, “many nonprofits in our communities are struggling to survive in the time of the coronavirus, with lost revenue from fundraising events, sudden technology needs, and an increase in demand for help from people who need food, access to health care, and more.”
If you are capable of donating, consider helping a nonprofit you believe in.
As most of the world is spending all their time in their homes, it is inspiring to see all the support on social media in order to work together and stop Covid-19.
“People are so creative. From this hand-washing parody to celebrity giving challenges, we’re continually surprised and overjoyed by the ingenuity and kindness of people in the midst of this global crisis,” said Hartz.
Some people, despite their own financial problems, still continue giving donations without keep much for themselves.
