Doctor’s Visit

Jessica’s parents decided to take her to the doctor. They went to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London hoping to get the answers they badly needed. The doctors took scans and tests, and kept her there for a week. Finally, they came to one conclusion: she was diagnosed with amnesia brought on by epilepsy.

Life Lost

Jessica knew she had to start all over again. She felt as if she had lost everything. She didn’t even recognize her own name. So as soon as she left the hospital a week later, she did her best to familiarize herself with her surroundings and the people around her. Even her friends tried to reach out, but they were unfamiliar to her as well.
