When Melania and President Trump met in 1998 during a fashion week party, he was still married to Marla Maples. Melania said in a recent interview: “He wanted my number, but he was with a date, so of course I didn’t give it to him.” Trump wound up giving her all his numbers, and obviously the two later began dating.
