NPR has reported that an additional $240 million in partnerships will be extended to 12 global female leaders, each receiving a $20 million fund. Each of these leaders will have the opportunity to distribute their funds to organizations that work to improve women’s health both in the United States and internationally. French Gates wrote, “As a young woman, I could never have imagined that one day I would be part of an effort like this.
