While LionMaker was known to be ‘sweet’ in his YouTube videos, Skype was a whole other story. LionMaker, whose real name is Marcus, would act in a particular way in order to please his fans. But since he would be a part of particular chat groups with those that he ‘knew’ on Skype, he was said to use those to be his real self, someone that would complain and use aggressive behavior against people he didn’t like.

It would be sometime in December of 2015 when LionMaker’s reputation would come into question. During a NF Family Foundation event, where LionMaker had been invited as a ‘special guest’ to play Minecraft on their server, organizer Dana Iniguez had noticed something amiss.
