6. Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands
The Bikini atoll is located in the Pacific Ocean and belongs to the Marshall Islands. In 1946 the entire population was evacuated to the neighboring island Rongrik atoll since the United States wanted to carry out nuclear tests. Until 1958, 23 nuclear explosions were conducted, including the first hydrogen bomb. The food grown here is still contaminated.
7. Saba Island, Carribean
Saba Island has an unfortunate geographical location, right in the path of the Earth’s worst and harshest winds. The island has been hit by more hurricanes than any other island in the past 100 years.
