Total Blackout In Puerto Rico
The lights from the vehicles bathed the town in an eerie shade of blue as the whole island of Puerto Rico lost power brought about mainly by Hurricane Maria, which hit the island in late September of 2017. The storm caused a power line in the district of Aguirre Central in the southern part of the island to give out, triggering the island-wide blackout considered the largest in US history.
