20. Oscar-winning Russian filmmaker Nikita Mikhalkov is proposing to build a war-themed ski resort south-western Russia.
The resort will be inspired by war and it will imitate a real battlefield made out of rubber to prevent skiers and snowboarders to injure themselves. Located east of Moscow the $110-million ski resort will be designed to encourage patriotism in the younger generation of Russians, and it will include an education centre.
21. Russia is the home of the world’s largest McDonalds.
The large building has 700 seats. It was constructed for the 2012 Olympics in London and it was disassembled after the games had come to an end.
