Ivanka converted to Judaism shortly before marrying her husband, Jared Kushner, whom she met at a business meeting. The two have three children together.

Her parents divorced when she was 10, and Ivanka grew up in the spotlight after the scandal of their split became public. She recalls leaving school when she just 9 years old and being asked by reporters inappropriate questions about her parents.
