Stephany Flores Ramirez

On May 30, 2010, Stephany Flores Ramirez was reported missing in Lima, Peru. 3 days after she was reported gone, her body was found, dead, face down on a bed, with force blunt trauma to her neck, in a hotel room registered to one Joran van der Sloot. He was found in Chile and arrested on June 3, eventually confessing to her murder. And he did it all because she had looked through his personal computer without his permission.
Finally, Some Kind Of Justice

It would seem that killing someone for going through their computer was a bit over the top, to say the least. But apparently, it was reported that van der Sloot was so upset about Stephany going through his computer because he had incriminating evidence linking him to the death of Natalee Holloway. During his trial for Stephany’s death, they couldn’t gain any more evidence about Natalee from van der Sloot because the trial didn’t want to touch on the Holloway case. They wanted to remain focused mainly on Stephany. Despite that, many were relieved that van der Sloot would finally go to jail for at least 28 years for murder.
