Surprising Behavior

According to Moffitt, Detective Payne had been working for the privatized Gold Cross Ambulance Company since 1983. In fact, Payne was even described as being ‘hardworking, conscientious employee who followed the rules.’ Moffitt even went on to say that he was completely taken aback by what he had seen in the video and how Detective Payne handled the situation with Nurse Wubbels.

Feeling Completely Bullied

When Nurse Wubbels was interviewed later on, she shares how everyone was kind of just standing around, witnessing what was happening. She says that the University Police didn’t even try to stop Detective Payne from mishandling her. She said, “This cop bullied me. He bullied me to the utmost extreme. And nobody stood in his way.”
