Keola’s Concern
According to Alhanna, “She [Keola] would nudge me and cry and I could never figure out why she suddenly started doing this. Ricky said she was distraught whenever I went to work, when she had never minded before.” But this is where Keola’s concern for her ‘mommy’ went beyond the norm. As long as Alhanna was home, Keola wouldn’t leave her side, even when she was in the bathroom.
