Robinson Was Found Guilty

The trial, which lasted from April 24 to May 11 of 2006, found Rev. Gerald Robinson guilty ‘on all counts’ brought against him. He was sentenced to ‘15 years to life in prison,’ but despite the guilty charge, he still proclaimed his innocence. And yet despite all his appeals to overturn his case, he would spend the rest of his life in prison, even becoming a ‘counselor’ to some of the other inmates. He had even shared, “I don’t know – maybe this is where the good Lord wanted me to be. In this prison, for those people.” And before his possible parole in 2016, he would die on July 4, 2014 from complications from a prior heart attack, which he suffered from in the month of May before that.
