Waiting For His Trial
For Harrison, he continues to declare that what he says is the truth. He shares, “You know the truth is going to come out but they can’t deny, commit my life to the city for thirty something years, you know because that is what I love to do, work with young people. They can’t take that away from me.” But the teen who he shot will thankfully remain alive, and as long as he testifies against Harrison, then that will surely be the end of him and the ‘holy’ life he so claimed to live. Now all he can do is wait until April, when his case will finally go to trial. But hopefully, for a community in grief, it will also bring them the comfort they so desperately need.
