As the girls were held hostage, Jessica tried to phone her mother, possibly to ask for help. Huntley was able to stop this and kill the two. He called Carr and dumped the phone Jessica used to call her mom. He said that he simply followed his girlfriend’s instructions. Their shirts were burned in a bin and their bodies dumped in a different location. The family could only imagine the fear Holly and Jessica felt that night, and this pained them even more.
