Coming Home to America
After her stint in London, Brooke went back to America. The first thing she did was call the hospital. She wanted to check on the baby girl she gave up. The news that she got chilled her to the very core. The nurse on the other line told her in a matter-of-fact tone that the baby was dead. She couldn’t believe what she heard. Her baby wasn’t even given the chance to enjoy life.
