People throw out lots of trash all the time. But sometimes, they don’t even realize exactly that what they have, is not trash, but actually treasure. In this particular instance, a man threw out an old television set that he was given by a friend over 30 years prior.
If he had known what was inside it though, we’re pretty certain he would never have put it in the garbage.

The manufacturing of television sets has been going on since the late 1920’s. But they were nothing like the TVs that we have today. In those days, TVs were huge, expensive and not always in color. They also only became truly popular after World War II. These days, a TV is just as important to have at home as having a refrigerator or a washing machine. And most homes have more than one.
