Sex slavery is the biggest illegal trade in the world, after drugs and arms trafficking. And what’s worse is that more than 80% of those trafficked are women and young girls. But even a small number are made up of men and boys too. And whether we like to admit it or not, many trafficking rings operate very close to home. And worst of all, many victims are sold and sent to other countries under false pretenses, making them that much harder for their families to find.
