Samsung’s statement
In a statement released by Samsung to the Daily Beast, the company asserted that they take consumer privacy very seriously. They said, they use “industry-standard security safeguards and practices, including data encryption” to protect the personal information of users and to “prevent unauthorized collection or use.”
