A Wanted Man

The authorities knew they needed to get the word out about Cooper and the mysterious hijacking case. They were aware that, since they only had the details given by the crew, as well as the serial numbers of the bills they gave for ransom, there were no other major clues left behind for them to go on. They were hopeful that, if someone chanced upon the police sketch of his description, someone might just see something near the surrounding area where he could have possibly landed.

Looking Further Into The Case

Theories began to emerge about what and where Cooper may have landed. Supposedly, a Northwest placard was found around “6 flying miles” from where Cooper jumped. The authorities were pretty certain that it could have only come off the airplane whose door was left open for some reason, so it must have come from the hijacked plane Cooper had been in. And yet, days turned into months, which turned to years with no other evidence to move on.
