Parents keep secrets from their children every single day. Most of the time, it’s the stories about the things they did as teenagers, or all the alcohol they drank when they were young, or about not having perfect grades in school or never skipping class. Other times, the secrets are about not wanting the kids to know that money is tight, or that mom and dad are having marital issues. But sometimes, parents keep certain stories a secret because life, as their children know it, would be completely turned around a full 360 degrees.
