Heroism From Every Angle
Despite the unimaginable amount of devastation, stories of heroism also emerged from this calamitous event. The New York Police Department, Fire Department, The United States Military and other armed forces, as well as many people who actually worked within the World Trade Center who were outside, did what they could to help people escape before the towers collapsed. Others came back after the fall and helped to search for any survivors who may have been left behind. And supposedly, one particular survivor was Tania Head.
