Checking Out Her Workplace

Police also headed to her workplace to see if they could get any possible leads there. They took her computer files and found that there was someone in management who wanted to court her. She had declined his offer stating that it was also against company protocol. They brought her coworker in for questioning a few times, but this eventually lead nowhere. Because nothing seemed to be coming up in their investigation, authorities even brought up the idea of her being kidnapped by a human trafficking ring, but there was no evidence to believe this was true.

Setting Up A Reward

During the initial investigation, the authorities had received over 1000 tips on her whereabouts, but still, they were coming up short. Even her company had given a 1 million dollar reward for any leads that came in by July 4, a little less than 6 months from the time she was abducted. Unfortunately, no one came to claim the huge reward.
