Award Deserved

Crawford got a decent retirement pay and for a retiree, his salary was fine, but he also was struggling. The war veteran could only set aside a few dollars for his bills. Moschgat decided to look for a way to get the janitor what he ultimately deserved even if he never complained about anything. And because he was presumed missing when his Medal of Honor was given, the man never got the opportunity to meet the US president who should have handed him his reward.

The Great Plan

That very year, Moschgat came up with a very smart plan – he was going to invite Crawford at the graduation ceremony of the Air Force Academy. He told the janitor that the students wanted him to be there as they said goodbye to the school. What he didn’t realize was that the celebration was for him as well.
