Crawford had shuffled around the academy, walking slowly as if he had always been a quiet man who led a simple life. It seemed highly unlikely that he was a soldier who fought during the war. And when Moschgat approached him about what he read, he didn’t give an immediate answer. In fact, it took him a few minutes before he said, “That was a long time ago and one day in my life.”

Word soon spread about what Moschgat had discovered. The other cadets were just as curious. They began to probe the mysterious janitor and eventually, he opened up and told them about his truth.
