Most people know that Israel has had conflicts with neighboring Arab nations, and that the Israel-Palestine conflict has not been settled so far. Yet, for a country always at war, Israel is still a popular tourist destination, particularly religious tourism. It is the biblical Holy Land revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Not to be confused with the Holy See, which is the Vatican and religiously ruled by the Pope. Historical places such as Jerusalem and Nazareth attract millions of tourists every year. Yet, there is still a lot of things to do besides religious pilgrimages. Not everything in Israel is about religion. But, some things must not be done when in Israel.
