Where Is He Now?

Aside from writing a few albums, he would go on to tour with John Mayer, Matchbox 20 and O.A.R. as their opening acts, even co-headlining with singer Matt Nathanson. But sometime in 2015, Phillips’ would find himself in a bit of controversy when he sued the American Idol’s production company, 19 Entertainment, for “manipulating and oppressing” him. Thankfully, he was able to settle the issue and finally release some new tracks on an album he called “Collateral,” which he toured for in early 2018.
