Like any other normal day for her
Pam’s own version of what happened before the incident told about how that day was just like any other normal day for her. The morning she shot Gumpenberger, Pam said she was driving around St. Charles County looking for thrift shops, after which she proceeded to drive to her daughter’s house in St. Charles City. But since her daughter wasn’t home, she headed back to her house to let her dog out.
The mysterious silver four-door sedan
Pam stated that as she was getting out of her car, she noticed a silver four-door sedan pulled up in front of her house directly behind her driveway. A man quickly got out of the car’s passenger side and ran up to the passenger side of her vehicle. He entered Pam’s car through the front passenger door. Meanwhile, the silver four-door car quickly drove away.
