Pennsport
This working-class neighborhood is home to a large population of Irish Americans, and its “Two Street” houses the organizations that perform in the annual Mummer’s Parade on New Year’s Day. An influx of younger residents has given the place some diversity, with new houses and establishments such as cafes, bars, and restaurants popping up. Still, it’s a very quiet residential area, with schools listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
